I’ve started watching The Wire – and, before any of you get started, save your oh-my-god-you-haven’t-seen-The-Wire’s. People can watch and enjoy shows at their own time. That said, there’s little I can say that a whole bunch of people haven’t already said, but despite the more annoying corners of its fandom, I’m still very much enjoying it.

Welcome to Wrexham is now officially the second show to make me care about football, after Ted Lasso. It’s such a joy to watch, and it really does boil down to its focus on the the players and, more importantly, the community at large, rather than on its Hollywood owners.
Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is probably my favourite Marvel show since Spectacular Spider-Man, honestly. It’s just filled with fun, love and positivity. Also, I want a Dev plush toy right now.

Sami Zayn’s feud with Roman Reigns and The Bloodline has really struck a chord with me. I know I’ve never talked about wrestling here, so I think it says a lot about this storyline that I felt the need to mention it. Yes, the writing and the performances are phenomenal, but I think it also helps that Sami’s probably the most relatable character in wrestling for me. He wants to belong, but is always treated like a joke or an outcast among a group of people he calls his friends? Oof, talk about hitting way too close to home.
